that I had a blog today. Sounds stupid but I had actually forgotten that I had a blog and the idea was to make postings so that people knew what was going on.
As you know I finally got a job a couple of months ago and I think that is why this has been so neglected. Having something to do in the day that brought in money rather distracted from making blog entries.
So what have we been up to since I got a job? Well this weekend we were down in the Newcastle Under Lyme/Stoke-On-Trent/Hanley sort of area, camping. We bought a VERY BIG (the Coleman Bi Space 500)tent a couple of weeks ago and decided that we had to christen it and go away. So we went away with another couple who are some of our very good friends and spent the entire weekend in a field doing nothing but reading. The campsite we were on was a farm one so one morning the farmer very kindly gave us some some his fresh laid farm eggs. They are so much better than supermarket ones, the yolks are liquid sunshine and wonderfully rich. Have to get some of our own chickens and have our own fresh eggs in the future.
I have done more than that since starting work but for the life of me at the moment I cannot remember. It is great being able to enjoy life and all that the local area has to offer.
