Ooooh, I’ve just realised

that it’s nearly the English asparagus season. If you’re in the North West, get yourself to the Kenyon Hall Farm website, where you can monitor when it’s available for sale.
The asparagus that they grow there is absolutely fantastic and all graded by size – from pieces the width of your thumb to thin pieces that are great for soup. And you know exactly how many food miles they’ve done.
I can’t wait!
