I’ve started getting musical hankerings again, which means spending much time in instrument shops playing with all the kit. I was in a place near soho, and spotted this in among the sheet music:
Can you just imagine what this would sound like? Superb.
What do you play?
I’ve not played properly for years, but I’m a pianist, dahrling. And I play the saxophone and the clarinet.
And you get some cracking repertoire for the recorder, it’s not just a schooly instrument.
And I’m teaching myself how to play the lute.
And I started off, right back in the beginning, on the guitar. I gave it up when the pressures of Nursery school got too much. But now I’m thinking I need a bass.
Yay.
I got a v. cheap bass . Does very well.
I’m thinking this is the route I need to go down – learn to play first, then buy the spangly Steinberger, even though it goes against the grain.
